B and My Birthday's

B's birthday and my birthday are only 10 days apart. His is August 20th and mine is August 30th. Because they are so close together my family and his family celebrated our birthdays on the same day. On Saturday, August 22nd, it was B's family get together, the guys went golfing and the girls got pedicures and went to his parents house to watch "The Confessions of a Shopaholic, which I thought was a cute movie. When the guys got home we all ate some really good pizza from The Pie. It was the biggest pizza ever; I think it was like 30 inches in diameter. It seriously took up the whole kitchen island. After pizza, some of us played Wii bowling, and B's dad Scott kicked everyone's butt. I on the other hand sucked miserably. It was a good time, and I love them all so much.

The next day was my family shindig. We all went to the Old Spaghetti Factory and then back to my house for cake and ice cream. My family has a tradition of singing happy birthday in the loudest and most obnoxious way possible. It's pretty freaking hilarious, but that's my family, and I love every last crazy one of them.

As for what B and I did for each other, we gave each other presents like a month early. He got me an Elliptical, tennis shoes, workout DVD, a couple CDs, perfume, flowers, and the Cricut. I got him golf clubs, Nickelback tickets (which I mistakenly thought he wanted, my bad), Nickelback CD, Family Guy DVD, Fast and the Furious DVD, and some underwear, which he desperately needed because me and every other person on this planet was tired of seeing his butt crack because his underwear were too small. Love you babe!!! On B's actual birthday, I treated him to Oliver Garden, and on my actual birthday he took me to La Luna and to see Final Destination 3D. It was pretty cool with the 3D glasses, but way gory. I had to turn my head a few times. I think next year I'll do less buying gifts and instead plan something fun and romantic.

Boondocks!

About two weeks ago the fam and I went to Boondocks for one last bash before summer was over. It was so much fun. We got there pretty early on a Sunday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy. We did the bumper boats, go-carts, arcade, and laser tag (our family team killed the other group we were playing against). We also played miniature golf, which we all got bored of pretty quickly and ended up cheating on every hole. It's 18 holes, and playing with about 6 crappy golfers, it took over an hour and half even with cheating and skipping two holes. The bumper boats were way fun and wet, but it was okay because it was pretty hot. I would definitely recommend this for a family fun day. The little kids loved it, and the adults enjoyed it too.

The Goat Before and After

With the GOAT

Honey I love you, but you totally look like Jafar from Aladdin in this picture.

Without the GOAT. Much better.

THE ATTACK OF THE GOAT!!!!

What is it about getting married that makes your opinion no longer matter?

I think my husband is way hot, and I love everything about him. However, he grew this goat that I cannot stand. It is getting so long and nappy, and it just kind of creeps me out. It makes him look unapproachable and mean. My brother called it a Satan goatee, and I think that describes it perfectly. I have been bugging him to cut it for a month and have even threatened to cut it in his sleep. Anyways, I made a bet with him last night, that I would stop one of my really bad habits (picking at my face which causes scars) if he cuts his goat. Every time he catches me picking or notices that I have picked he can add a centimeter to the length of his goat. As apart of the deal he has to start from scratch because he has to shave it first. I know I am supposed to accept and support my husband no matter what, but this is something that can so easily be changed, and he looks so much better without it. We'll see how the bet goes. If you see him with a long goat, I'm a loser.

I'll post pictures of before and after shots with the goat and without soon.

This is going to be a long post of pictures. I got over over 700 pictures of my wedding from my photographer Nickell (http://nickellphotography.blogspot.com/), so these are just some of them.
